Julio Javier Cristiani 
(May He Rest in Peace)

Born in Mexico City. 

He graduated with honors in Law from La Salle University, with postgraduate studies at Universidad Panamericana. He was also a professor of Intellectual Property Law at Escuela Libre de Derecho and Universidad Panamericana, in addition to being the author of various specialized publications. 

He represented the Private Sector during the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Bar Association in 1997. He presided over the Mexican Association for the Protection of Industrial Property (AMPPI) and the Mexican National Group of AIPPI from 1989 to 1992, as well as the Mexican Section of the Féderation Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle (FICPI) in 1996. 

He was an active member of distinguished international associations such as the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). 

During his professional practice, he excelled in the areas of Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Unfair Competition, Licensing, and Litigation.
